Website Development Policies

We reserves the right to place a small link back to Silvergateway.com. The link will be to the effect of "Web design by Silvergateway.com". It is the owner(s) discretion as to weather it is an image link or a text link. In exchange for this link we agrees to add a link back to your website that will remain there for the life of your website.

Payment

From date of initial invoice the client has a period of 15 days to make the first installment of the 25% down payment. This 25% down payment is not refundable as it is considered payment for work already done in the initial setup of your live test site.

The second installment of 65% of the total invoice is due before the completed website is moved to the live server. The client has a period of no longer then 30 days to make this installment.

The remaining 10% of the total invoice will be paid in full before the CD / DVD copy of the client's website is sent out. Clients have a period no longer then 30 days to make this final payment of the total invoice.

Silvergateway will hold the website for a period no long then 30 days before the client is in default of payment. A warning letter will be issued in writing at this time. If the client does not return either a statement or payment within 15 days of this letter being sent via registered mail, Silvergateway reserves the right to administratively shut down the client's website.  If payment is still in default further legal actions will be taken. Any further work requested by said client will not begin until the default payments have been received in full.

Payment methods that Silvergateway accepts are as follows:

Cash, check , credit card (Master Card, Visa) & Paypal online payment system. Clients that return an NSF check will be subject to a $40 payment penalty.

Hacking

Silvergateway takes every reasonable step to prevent hacking attacks. Silvergateway will not be held responsible for any lost time or business due to a hacking attack. Silvergateway is obligated to ensure that the website is fixed and replaced in a reasonable time frame, and will take every step necessary to ensure that the same attack is unable to take place again.

Privacy

Silvergateway will not share any personal, private and or financial information with any other business or entity (unless legally required to do so under dictate of Canadian law).

Legal Statements

Upon request we may develop privacy and or terms of service statements for clients. If such statements are prepared by us, it will be the responsibility of the owner(s) of the site to have their own legal counsel check these statements for legal correctness.
